Cultural Capital

At Prescot Primary School, we view ‘cultural capital’ as the characteristics,  knowledge and skills that promote social mobility, both now and in the future. We ensure that all children are exposed to a wide range of experiences that will develop their cultural capital and give them an advantage in later life.

We also recognise that all children have different starting points and so strive to layer experiences that will build over time and hopefully help to close any  attainment gaps.

We want all of our pupils to flourish in their future lives.

Prescot Primary's 'TOP 50' List illustrates the rich experiences we plan for our children in their journey from Nursery to Y6.
