Operation Encompass is a safeguarding partnership between schools and the police that ensures schools are informed, before the start of the next school day, if a child has been present during or affected by a domestic abuse incident. This enables school staff to provide timely, appropriate and sensitive support to children who may be experiencing emotional distress or trauma. Schools are also informed of children who are missing from home.

At our school, we are fully committed to supporting Operation Encompass as part of our wider safeguarding responsibilities. By working closely with partner agencies, we can respond quickly to children's needs, provide the right support at the right time, and help ensure that every child feels safe, secure and ready to learn. The safety and wellbeing of our pupils will always remain our highest priority.
