Our whole curriculum is designed to bring our vision, 'Empower today, prepare for tomorrow,' to life. We believe every child has the right to a rich, ambitious and inclusive education that enables them to develop their talents, interests and potential to the full. By putting the learner first, we create opportunities for children to be curious, creative, knowledgeable and confident, while developing the skills, independence and resilience they will need for their future. As a Rights Respecting School, children’s rights are woven throughout our curriculum: children learn about their rights, through their rights and how to uphold the rights of others, developing respect for different people, cultures, beliefs and perspectives. Our curriculum encourages children to be ‘bothered’ – about themselves, about others and about the world around them – and empowers them to use their knowledge, skills and voices to make a positive difference. Through a purposeful blend of strong teaching, memorable experiences, authentic opportunities and innovative use of technology, we aim to ensure that every child feels they belong, every child has a voice and every child is prepared for their tomorrow.
