Y2 had such a busy day exploring their project in role as pirates, RNLI captains and fisherfolk! Their Cornerstones project 'Land ahoy!' has already captured their imaginations and they have learned so much about the ocean and the people who live and work on it.

During their project day, Y2 completed many challenges such as learning a pirate dance, finding treasure using a map and baking some pirate cookies. It is wonderful to see our learners so immersed in their learning experience and working through their tasks with such enjoyment.  We are trying hard to not only engage our children but to take them to obsession - and Y2 certainly looked like they were fully 'on board' with their exciting day!
