Learning with technology
A new year brings a refresh of Apple devices that our KS2 children can take home.
As an Apple Distinguished School, we value the part that technology plays for the teacher and the learner. We believe that it engages our children and gives them so many opportunities that would not otherwise be present. Children can collaborate easily, working on shared documents or presentations. They can hand work in to their teacher - even if they are at home! Pupils can even create their own movies, with their own soundtracks. Learning possibilities are limitless.
Y4 teachers are also trialling the new 'Apple Classroom' app that transforms the teachers' iPads into powerful assistants:
'helping a teacher guide students through a lesson, see their progress, and keep them on track. With Classroom, you can easily launch the same app on every student device at the same time, or launch a different app for each group of students. Classroom helps teachers focus on teaching so students can focus on learning.'

We are excited about more new possibilities!
