One year on from our 'Sing for Songbirds' project and we are back in partnership with Chester Zoo.  We have welcomed Laura, a Safari Ranger, into school to share her expertise with the children. As the whole school 'act for wildlife' and campaign to raise awareness of local wildlife in particular, we wanted the children to have some authentic experiences.

Year 1 have been studying minibeasts and their habitats. Laura was able to share lots of her knowledge as she took them outside in the sunshine to have a closer look.

Over the coming weeks, all classes will spend time with Laura exploring the world of minibeasts or the wider topic of 'Wildlife Connections'.
